BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO.7064 -82 <br />AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />SOUTH BEND APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN THE <br />BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS AND NETWORK <br />COMPUTING CORPORATION FOR UTILITY BILLING <br />COMPUTER SERVICES <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />Upon bids being let by the Board of Public Works for <br />utility billing computer services, Network Computing Services was <br />found by the Board to be the lowest responsible and responsive <br />bidder for those services. To increase the efficient operation of <br />the utility services, in particular the utility billing procedures <br />of the Bureaus of Water, Wastewater, and Solid Waste, the computer <br />services contained in the contract approved by the Board of Water <br />Commissioners are necessary. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I: The contract between the Board of Water Com- <br />missioners and Network Computing Services Corporation dated <br />June 7, , 1982, for utility billing computer services is hereby <br />approved and confirmed. Said contract is attached hereto. <br />SECTION II.
