1. The plans consist of two (2) Sheets. <br />2. The work shall conform to the plans. <br />3. The drawings are schematic in nature. <br />4. The CONTRACTOR is responsible for estimating dimensions and quantities of materials. <br />5. In the event that the Special Provisions and the Plans conflict, the Special Provisions shall govern. <br />XX. Electrical and Lighting <br />A. Prevailing Specifications: None <br />B. Additions: <br />1. Contractor shall perform in accordance with 2008 National Electrical Code (Indiana Electrical Code: <br />675 IAC 17). <br />2. The locations for the installation of new lights are shown in Attachment 1. <br />3. The lights to be furnished and installed shall be RAB Lighting X17 Field -Adjustable Floodlight <br />X17PA450SF/PCT. <br />4. The lights shall be installed using a 2" RMC electrical conduit riser pole in a concrete foundation <br />buried 36" deep. Lights 2, 3, and 4, as shown in Attachment 1, may need to be top -mounted or <br />side -mounted on the tank if the reuse water main which runs along the eastern edge of the aeration <br />tanks precludes the Contractor from burying the poles and placing them in concrete foundations. <br />The approximate location of the reuse water main is shown in Attachment 2 and should be verified <br />by the Contractor. <br />5. Pole length should be measured to result in a 20' height of the lights from grade. Buried poles <br />should be fastened with brackets to the exterior of the tanks to provide sufficient support. <br />6. Electrical connections are available at the existing 120V junction boxes at the southeastern and <br />northeastern corners of the aeration tanks. Electrical conduit should be routed along the eastern <br />edge of the tank and fastened thereupon in order to service the light poles.
