BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO. 7/41p _811_ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $7,200.00 FROM THE COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUND, FOR NEIGHBORHOOD CENTERS <br />ACTIVITY TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE DIVISION OF COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />The government of the City of South Bend, in partnership with the <br />City's private sector and residents, is committed to the goal of improving <br />the "quality of life" in the City, its neighborhoods, and for its residents. <br />As part of this commitment, the City of South Bend through its Division of <br />Community Development will utilize funds to assist various programs. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I: The sum of $7,200.00 is hereby appropriated for the <br />program year starting July 7, 1982, from the City of South Bend's Community <br />Development Block Grant Fund. <br />Program No. Description Amount <br />CD82 -507 Neighborhood Centers Activity $ 7,200.00 <br />SECTION II.
