J/ ,24 moo? <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ARTICLE 8 OF CHAPTER 21 OF <br />THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE REGULATING THE SUB- <br />DIVISION OF LAND <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE <br />AND INTENT <br />It is the intent of this Ordinance to amend Article 8, SUBDIVISIONS, <br />of Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code to comply with Public Law 211, <br />1982, which revised the statutory provisions that may be used by local plan <br />commissions to regulate subdivision developments. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of <br />South Bend, Indiana as follows: <br />SECTION 1: <br />That Article 8, SUBDIVISIONS, of Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal <br />Code, be hereby deleted in its entirety. <br />SECTION 2: <br />That Chapter 21 of the South Bend Municipal Code is hereby amended by <br />adding thereto a new Article 8, which article shall read as follows: <br />
