ORDINANCE NO. 7 /1o? -d'a <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN LAYNE- <br />NORTHERN AND THE BOARD OF WATER WORKS COMMISSION- <br />ERS IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,000.00 FOR THE CON- <br />STRUCTION OF A WELL AT THE EDISON WELL FIELD. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />That bids being duly accepted and opened, approval of the <br />award of a contract in the amount of $32,000.00 to Layne - <br />Northern, the low bidder, is requested in order to construct <br />a well at the Edison Well Field. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That a contract in the amount of $32,000.00 <br />between the Board of Water Works Commissioners and Layne - <br />Northern to construct a well at the Edison Well Field is <br />hereby approved. <br />SECTION II.
