ORDINANCE NO. 32, _ a <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $35,000 FROM <br />THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT, COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE SHARING <br />FOR THE SPRING CLEAN -UP PROGRAM FOR 1932 <br />TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE BOARD OF PUBLIC <br />WORKS OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />WHEREAS, it is the intent of the Administration of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, to carry out the annual Spring <br />Clean -Up, and <br />WHEREAS, funds are needed to pay for the pick -up, haul- <br />ing and dumping of the debris, and <br />WHEREAS, monies are available from the Federal Assis- <br />tance Grant. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of <br />the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: <br />SECTION I. The sum of $35,000.00 is hereby appropriated <br />for the yearn 19from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly <br />known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund.
