Timothy Rouse <br />President <br />South Bend Common Council <br />In Re: Ordinance to Amend the South Bend Municipal Code Chapter 16, <br />Article 2, Sections 16--6: To adjust rates for the collection of Solid <br />Waste. <br />Dear President Rouse: <br />Attached is an ordinance for Council consideration which deals with amendments <br />to Chapter 16 of the Municipal Code, specifically Solid Waste fees. These amendments <br />are prompted by the increased cost of collection and disposal of residential solid waste. <br />Vde are asking, at this time, to increase the cost for service by two-dollars and <br />fifty five cents ($2.55) per month for each class of customer and for increases of 3% in <br />2010 and 2011.
