Describe how and why the manufacturing equipment to be replaced or the facility in which <br />Equipment will be added is currently technologically, economically or energy obsolete and <br />how and why that obsolescence may lead to a decline in employment and tax revenues: <br />This investment in personal property complements Stanz's substantial investment in new real <br />estate construction and rehabilitation all of which are designed to increase Stanz's operating <br />efficiencies as a full-line food distributor. This total project includes Stanz's effort to (a) <br />increase the size of its warehouse and distribution facility, (b) enhance operating efficiencies <br />through new cold/freezer warehouse technology and (c) accommodate growth in its full line <br />grocery warehouse and distribution business. <br />25. The new manufacturing equipment is logistical distribution equipment, information <br />technology equipment andlor will be used in the direct production, manufacture, fabrication, <br />assembly, extraction, mining, processing, refining, or fnishing of other tangible personal <br />property and that the equipment was never before used by its owner for any purpose in <br />Indiana.
