The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 87 -93 <br />A BILL APPROPRIATING $116,000.00 FROM AND AMONG THE CUMULATIVE SEWER <br />BUILDING AND SINKING FUND FOR THE IRONWOOD WIDENING AND STORM - SANITARY <br />SEWER PROJECT. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to combine this <br />bill and refer it to the Utilities and Personnel and Finance Committees and set it <br />for public hearing and third reading on October 25. seconded by Council Member <br />Puzzello. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 88 -93 A BILL APPROPRIATING $490,000.00 WITHIN VARIOUS ACCOUNTS OF THE <br />WASTEWATER FUND FOR VARIOUS IMPROVEMENTS. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to combine this <br />bill and refer it to the Utilities and Personnel and Finance Committees and set it <br />for public hearing and third reading on October 25. seconded by Council Member <br />Puzzello. The motion carried. <br />BILL NO. 89 -93 A BILL OF THE SOUTH BEND COMMON COUNCIL AMENDING ARTICLE 5 OF CHAPTER <br />13 OF THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE ESTABLISHING AN ORDINANCE WHICH <br />PROHIBITS THE PRESENCE OF DISORDERLY HOUSES IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND. <br />This bill had first reading. Council Member Coleman made a motion to refer this bill <br />to the Public Safety Committee and set it for public hearing and third reading on <br />October 25. seconded by Council Member Zakrzewski. The motion carried. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />Council Member Zakrzewski made a motion to set the last meeting in November for <br />November 29, seconded by Council Member Coleman. The motion carried. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Otis Romine, 19221 Summers, spoke regarding a charitable solicitations ordinance. and <br />the vacation of Calvert Street. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, unfinished or new, <br />Council Member Coleman made a motion to adjourn, seconded by Council Member <br />Zakrzewski.
