If not, describe other local/regional plans or initiatives that <br /> impact economic growth. <br /> Need additional information. <br /> Discussion <br /> There is a need for job training for residents of St. Joseph County and the City of South Bend. Minorities <br /> in the City of South Bend are disproportionately unemployed and have a higher unemployment rate. There <br /> is a need for specific programs to address these disparities.Organizations in the area have worked to address <br /> this by partnering with potential entrepreneurs who are women and people of color.
