BILL NO. ORDINANCE NO. 715 -7 -23 AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $93,500 FROM COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT FUNDS FOR THE PURPOSE OF COMPLETING AND EXPAND- ING CERTAIN CURRENT PROJECT ACTIVITIES, AND INITIATING A NEW PROJECT ACTIVITY. STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Certain program needs and changes have developed since the passage of the existing Community Development Block Grant Fund Ordin- ance. In each circumstance, the need or change was not anticipated at the passage of the existing Community Development Block Grant Fund Ordinance. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. The sum of $93,500 is hereby appropriated for the program year starting July 7, 1982 from the Community Development Block Grant Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Division of Community Development and the appropriate agencies as set forth below: Project No. Description Amount CD 82 -604 East Bank Development $50,000 CD 82 -605 Southold Neighborhood Com- 13,500 mercial Revitalization CD 75 -82 -110 South Bend Home Improvement 30,000 Loan $93,500 SECTION II.
