PARENT, Mayor <br />COUNTY -CITY BUILDING SOUTH BEND, INDIANA 46601 <br />MEMBERS OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND <br />Council Chambers <br />County -City Building, 4th Floor <br />South Bend, Indiana 46601 <br />Dear Members of the Council: <br />November 3, 1982 219/284 -9742 <br />This bill would create three (3) new positions to be included in the <br />1983 salary ordinance. <br />The Clerk Terminal Operator in the Police Department and the Systems <br />Specialist in the Water Works are needed because of a change in job <br />responsibilities due to the new computer systems in both departments. <br />There will be corresponding decreases in other positions within these <br />departments and there will be no increase in the budgets already approved <br />for 1983.
