BILL NO. AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 7225 -83 FIXING MAXIMUM SALARIES AND WAGES OF APPOINTED OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, FOR THE YEAR 1984, BY THE INCLUSION OF SPECIFIC SALARY AMOUNTS FOR THE CROSSING GUARDS STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT On July 25, 1983, the South Bend Common Council passed Ordinance No. 7225 -83 which established maximum salaries and wages for 1984 for various employees of the City of South Bend. That Ordinance however, did not include specific amounts for the crossing guard positions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana as follows: SECTION I. Page 6, Sub - section V entitled Police Department of Section I of Ordinance No. 7225 -83, is hereby amended in part to read as follows: SECTION II.
