East Res. <br />* Funds are subject to the City Controller's determination of availability; if funds are unavailable, as solely determined by the City Controller, then the <br />authorization of the expenditure of such funds shall be void and of no effect. <br />PURPOSE OF REQUEST: Resolution Authorizing Staff to Bid on Acquisition List Properties at Sheriff’s Sale <br />SPECIFICS: Periodically the St. Joseph County Sheriff’s Office holds auctions for properties. The attached <br />resolution allows certain Redevelopment Commission Staff to bid on behalf of the RDC at these auctions. Staff <br />may only bid on properties which have been added to the already approved River West Acquisition List. This <br />resolution authorizes staff to bid at Sheriff Sales through June 30, 2025. <br />Each bid placed by Staff must be approved by the Executive Director or any properly appointed Acting Executive <br />Director of the City's Department of Community Investment.
