This transfer of funds is part of the 1983 <br />C.D.B.G. Application as submitted to the Department of Housing and <br />Urban Development which was authorized by the Council on February <br />28, 1983. <br />The ordinance represents our continuing efforts to <br />keep projects on schedule,operating funds primarily within one <br />program year and to most efficiently and effectively use CDBG funds. <br />The funding levels for the various activities and programs are being <br />reduced for several reasons. In some cases activity and program <br />goals and objectives have been met or exceeded.In other cases, the <br />reduction merely represents a change in funding years and the activity <br />or program will continue.
