BILL NO. <br />ORDINANCE NO.7177 -83 <br />AN ORDINANCE TRANSFERRING $1,552,246.00 AMONG VARIOUS <br />ACCOUNTS, ALL ACCOUNTS BEING WITHIN THE DIVISION OF <br />COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE.AND INTENT: <br />On March 3, 1983, the City of South Bend through the <br />Division of Community Development submitted its 1983 Application to <br />the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Part of the 1983 <br />Application included the anticipated reprogramming of $1,552,246.00 <br />from previous program years of Community Development Block Grant <br />Funding. The activities from program years 1979, 1980, 1981, and 1982 <br />have been completed or will have funding reprogrammed to the current <br />program year in order to efficiently utilize the funds. The plan for <br />projected funding levels of program year 1983 activities makes it <br />necessary to transfer funds among various accounts. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the <br />City of South Bend, Indiana: <br />SECTION I.
