DTSB will holding its Tree Lighting Ceremony on the December 6 First Fridays on the Gridiron. with a procession of Santa from the Century Center circle drive to the Gridiron traveling on Washington St. and through the Chocolate Cafe parking lot. A fire truck and police escort are requested for this procession, as has been done in the past. We are adding an extra request to this year's application to close Washington Street between Michigan and MLK from 5 to 9 pm as we will have cookie decorating in the DoubleTree and want to ensure pedestrian safety as they cross back and forth between the Gridiron and DoubleTree.
