ORDINANCE NO. / - ,P& AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $30,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND COMMONLY REFERRED TO AS THE GENERAL REVENUE SHARING TRUST FUND FOR HAZ -MAT EQUIPMENT FOR 1983 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY THE FIRE DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT In order to effectively operate the Emergency Hazardous Materials Response Team (HAZ -MAT Team), necessary equipment must be purchased. Monies are available within the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: SECTION I. That the sum of $30,000.00 is hereby appropriated for the year 1983 from the Federal Assistance Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Trust Fund. This appropriation is to be administered by the Fire Department and will be distributed as set forth below: PROGRAM FA 235 HAZ -MAT EQUIPMENT ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT 429.0 Other Equipment $ 30,000.00 Total $ 30,000.00 SECTION II.
