STAFF REPORT <br />COMMON COUNCIL INITIATED #852 -83 October 7, 1983 <br />REQUESTED ACTION: This proposed ordinance would clarify the types <br />of signs permitted within the "B" Residential <br />zoning district. Under the terms of this <br />ordinance, only institutional bulletins "of any <br />governmental agency, religious group, hospital or <br />school, located on the premises and bearing only <br />the information related to the activities <br />conducted on the premises, persons involved or <br />other such information" would be allowed to be as <br />large as 64 square feet. All other <br />identification signs must be no larger than one <br />square foot in area. <br />
