General Location of <br />5200 Block of West <br />South Bend, Indiana <br />ORDINANCE NO.� <br />Property: <br />Linden Avenue <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 49.90 -68, <br />AS AMENDED, COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING <br />ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />(Chapter 21, Municipal Code). <br />. <br />BE IT ORDAINED by the .Common Council of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana: <br />Section 1 Ordinance No. 49.90 -68, as amended, which ordinance <br />is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, <br />Indiana, be and the same hereby is amended in order that the zoning <br />classification of the following described real estate in the City of <br />South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: <br />A part of the Northwest 1/4 of the Northeast 1/4 of <br />Section 8, Township 37 North, Range 2 East in Portage <br />Township, City of South Bend, St Joseph County, <br />Indiana, described as follows: <br />Beginning at a pdht on the North line of said Section <br />490.00 feet North 901 00' 00" East (assumed bearing) <br />of the Northwest corner of said Northeast 1/4 of <br />Section 8; thence South 000 00' 00" East 533.28 feet; <br />thence South 891 56' 15" East 10.84 feet; thence <br />Easterly 143.17 feet along an arc to the left having <br />a radius of 683.58 feet and subtended by a long <br />chord having a bearing of North 84° 03' 49" East <br />and a length of 142.91 feet; thence North 781 03' <br />45" East 43.64 feet; thence Northerly 219.67 feet <br />along an arc to the right having a radius of 1203.395 <br />feet and subtended by a long chord having a bearing of <br />North 050 13' 46" West and a length of 219.36 feet; <br />thence North 001 00' 00" East 291.03 feet to the North <br />line of said Section, said point being 206.00 feet <br />North 901 00' 00" West of the Northwest corner of <br />Bellewood 3rd Unit, an addition to the City of South <br />Bend recorded in Plat Book 21, Page B -9 and B -9A, <br />December 16, 1963 in the St. Joseph County Recorder's <br />Office; thence North 900 00' 00" West along the <br />North line of said Section, 176.07 feet to the <br />point of beginning and containing 2.1625 acres <br />more or less, being lots 174 thru 181 and the Easterly <br />Half of Lot 182 in the proposed plat of Mayflower <br />5th Unit to the City of South Bend for which preli- <br />minary approval was granted by the Area Plan <br />Commission of St. Joseph County, Indiana, March 21, <br />1972. <br />be and the same is hereby established as "C" Commercial, "A" Height <br />and Area. <br />Section 2.
