In the future we could expand the Industrial Park by <br />extending this intersection south to Foundation Drive in the Industrial Park. In <br />addition to solving the access problem for residents of the area and being good <br />planning for the future, it also solves some problems for snow removal and <br />other emergency services. This .contract would allow for the redesign of the <br />stub street and remove the cul-de-sac. It would not include the design for the <br />extension of Foundation Drive. The additional services are proposed. for a fee <br />of $6,000. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the proposal from Ken Herceg & <br />Associates for design services related to F. Jay Nimtz Parkway/Foundation <br />Drive intersection in the Airport Economic Development Area in the amount <br />of $6,000. <br />b. Authority approval requested for proposal from Cole Associates for desi n <br />- services related to Blackthorn Golf Course parking lot. <br />Mr. Riggs explained that this proposal will add to the existing agreement with <br />Cole Associates. We asked them to provide additional services, including a <br />field survey of the clubhouse location on the site, .some site lighting design, <br />providing site identification signage and drainage studies. The total amount <br />for this. contract is $2,470.00. <br />Upon a motion by Mr. Gammage, seconded by Mr. Wroblewski and <br />unanimously carried, the Authority approved the proposal from Cole <br />Associates for design services related to Blackthorn Golf Course parking lot. <br />c. Authority approval requested for proposal from Landscapes Unlimited, Inc for <br />professional services related to Blackthorn Corporate Center. <br />Mr. Riggs explained that the Authority approved a contract with Landscapes <br />Unlimited previously for the development of an overall master plan for the <br />Corporate Center. The document was never signed, however. We have now <br />asked them for additional services which increased the fee by an amount not to <br />exceed $1,000. The overall plan would show proposed landscaping, site <br />locations and building locations for the Corporate Center and would include a <br />• rendering that could be used in the Blackthorn brochure. <br />
