REGULAR MEETING JANUARY 8, 1996 <br />Joyce Boaler, 1606 Hillsdale, congratulated the Fire Department on <br />a job well done; welcomed the new Council Members; congratulated <br />Sean Coleman for being against the jail at the airport; and <br />indicated that she heard the Palais Royale was for sale and hoped <br />the City did not give it away. <br />Jim Cierzniak, 1156 E. Victoria, indicated the Council's tribute to <br />the retiring Council Members was far too lengthy. <br />Gene Oakly, 2614 York Road, spoke regarding the County jail <br />location. <br />Tony Scott, 214 N. Sadie, thanked the Council for having a Muslim <br />give the invocation for the first time. <br />There being no further business to come before the Council <br />unfinished or new, Council Member Coleman made a motion to adjourn, <br />a seconded by Council Member Washington.
