ORDINANCE NO. <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN GEYER <br />CONSTRUCTION COMPANY AND THE BOARD OF WATER <br />WORKS COMMISSIONERS IN THE AMOUNT OF $48,998.88 <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE EDISON FLOW EQUALI- <br />ZATION SEWER SYSTEM. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />That bids being duly accepted and opened, approval of the <br />award of a contract in the amount of $48,998.88 to Geyer Con- <br />struction Company is requested in order to construct the Edison <br />Flow Equalization Sewer System. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION I. That a contract in the amount of $48,998.88 <br />between the Board of Water Works Commissioners and Geyer Con- <br />struction Company to construct the Edison Flow Equalization <br />Sewer System is hereby approved. <br />SECTION II.
