BILL NO. 43-24 ORDINANCE NO. 11143-24 AN ORDINANCE OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED 5614 MAIN STREET COUNCILMANIC DISTRICT NO. 5 IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT Petitioner desires to rezone from S 1 Suburban Neighborhood 1 to S2 Suburban Neighborhood 2 NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, as follows: SECTION I. Ordinance No. 10689-19, which ordinance is commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of South Bend, Indiana, be and the same hereby amended in order that the zoning classification of the following described real estate in the City of South Bend, St. Joseph County, State of Indiana: A part of the South fraction of the North Half, South of the Old Indiana Boundary Line, of Section Number Thirty-six (36), Township Number Thirty-seven (37) North, Range Number Two (2) East, described as follows, viz: Beginning on the West line of the Michigan Road (also known as U.S. Highway No. 31) at a point 118.2 feet Northerly (as measured along the West line of said Michigan Road) from the intersection of said West line with the East and West center line of said Section No. 36; running thence West 155.91 feet to the place of beginning for this description; running thence West 156.40 feet to the East line of Main Street; thence North 100 feet along the East line of Main Street; thence East 160.01 feet; thence Southerly 100.1 feet to the place of beginning and being known as Lot Numbered Thirty-seven (37) in the unrecorded Plat of Dixie Gardens Ritter's Second Plat in Center Township. be and the same is hereby established as S2 Suburban Neighborhood 2 SECTION II. This ordinance is and shall be subject to commitments as provided by Chapter 21-12.07(0(7) Commitments, if applicable. SECTION III. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the mayor, and legal publication, and full execution of any conditions or Commitments placed upon the approval.
