ORDINANCE NO. 779 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING <br />$60,500 FROM THE EMERGENCY <br />MEDICAL SERVICES FUND FOR <br />CAPITAL EQUIPMENT AND REPAIRS. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to repair necessary equipment and <br />buildings for the fire department, funds are now needed. <br />Funds are also needed for a new ambulance. <br />Monies are presently available in the <br />Emergency Medical Services Fund for these repairs and <br />equipment. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $60,500.00 be <br />appropriated from the Emergency Medical Services Fund. This <br />appropriation will be administered by the Fire Department and <br />will be distributed as set forth below: <br />ACCOUNT <br />DESCRIPTION <br />AMOUNT <br />363.0 Equipment Repairs $11,500.00 <br />360.0 Building & Structures <br />Repair 14,000.00 <br />427.0 Motor Equipment 35,000.00 <br />$60,500.00 <br />SECTION II.
