ORDINANCE NO. 733 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROVING A CONTRACT BETWEEN <br />PEERLESS- MIDWEST, INC., AND THE BOARD OF WATER <br />WORKS COMMISSIONERS IN THE AMOUNT OF $271,617.00 <br />FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE NORTHWEST WELL FIELD <br />ON CLEVELAND ROAD <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />That bids being duly accepted and opened, approval of <br />the award of a Contract in the amount of $271,617.00 to <br />Peerless- Midwest, Inc., is requested in order to construct <br />a Northwest Well Field on Cleveland Road. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, AS FOLLOWS: <br />SECTION 1. That a contract in the amount of $271,617.00 <br />between the Roard of Water'WOrks Commissioners and Peerless - <br />Midwest, Inc., 51255 Bittersweet Road, Granger, Indiana, <br />46530, to construct a Northwest Well Field on Cleveland Road <br />is hereby approved. <br />SECTION II.
