ORDINANCE NO. 7,y,2g_ <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $150,000.00 FROM THE LOCAL <br />ROAD AND STREET FUND TO PROJECT R &S 8402, CONCRETE <br />IMPROVEMENTS, WITHIN THE LOCAL ROAD AND STREET FUND. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to meet existing and proposed traffic demands, and to <br />provide for safe and efficient movement of vehicles, certain improve - <br />ments are necessary for some concrete streets within the City of South <br />Bend. <br />Funds are now needed to pay for the cost of these improvements. <br />These funds are available from the Local Road and Street Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />Section I: The following sum of money is hereby ordered set <br />apart from the Local Road and Street Fund for the project in the amount <br />set forth below: <br />Project No. Description Amount <br />8402 Concrete Improvements $ 150,000.00 <br />Total Project $ 150,000.00 <br />Section II: This ordinance shall be in full force and effect <br />from and after its passage by the Common Council and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br />T) dr the Commol ouncil <br />1st READING 7 —5 —g- <br />PUBLIC HEARING `l"i y_,' 51 <br />2nd READING 5/ -� S/_ cF <br />NOT APPROVED <br />REFERRED <br />PASSED <br />
