REGULAR MEETING JULY 13. 1998 to the Council favorable. Fire Chief, Luther Taylor, made the presentation for the bill. He indicated this bill creates a user fee for the hazardous material and tactical rescue teams. He advised that the base cost is $2,400 for the first four hours and $660 per hour after the first four hours. Council Member Kelly made a motion to recommend this bill to the Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Sniadecki. The motion carried. BILL NO. 53 -98 A BILL OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, APPROPRIATING $17,646.30 FROM SEWER REPAIR INSURANCE FUND (FUND 640) This being the time heretofore set for public hearing on the above bill, proponents and opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. Council Member reported that the Utilities Committee had met on this bill and recommended it to the Council favorable. Jack Dillon, director of Environmental Services, made the presentation for the bill. He advised that the purpose of this appropriation is to reimburse Fund 642, for a pick -up truck that was paid from Fund 640 by mistake. Council Member Aranowski made a motion to recommend this bill tot he Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Varner. The motion carried. Council Member Coleman made a motion to rise and report to the Council, seconded by Council Member Varner. ORDINANCE NO. 8921 -98 AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE ZONING ORDINANCE FOR PROPERTY LOCATED AT 2211, 2505, AND 2515 EAST JEFFERSON BOULEVARD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA This bill had third reading.
