REGULAR MEETING MARCH 12,1998 be heard. Council Member Sniadecki reported that the Utilities Committee had met on this bill and recommended it to the Council favorable. John Stancati, Director of the Water Work, made the presentation for the bill. He reported that the Council had passed an ordinance on June 23, 1997 to increase water rates, contingent upon approval by the Indiana Utility Regulatory Commission. He advised that the Commission's order differed slightly from the increase approved by the Council and as a result it is necessary to pass this bill that is identical to the schedule of rates and charges approved by the Commission. Council Member Pfeifer made a motion to recommend this bill to the Council favorable, seconded by Council Member Hosinski. The motion carried. Council Member Hosinski made a motion to rise and report to the Council, seconded by Council Member Sniadecki. The motion carried.
