ORDINANCE NO. 7198 -83 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING <br />$5,000.00 FROM THE FEDERAL <br />ASSISTANCE GRANT FUND, COMMONLY <br />REFERRED TO AS GENERAL REVENUE <br />SHARING FOR THE VOLUNTEER PROGRAM <br />FOR 1983 TO BE ADMINISTERED BY <br />THE DEPARTMENT OF ADMINISTRATION <br />AND FINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH <br />BEND, INDIANA. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />In order to initiate the Volunteer Program <br />for the City of South Bend, it is necessary to fund half of a <br />part time coordinator and provide funds for related costs of the <br />program. These funds are available in the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $5,000.00 is here- <br />by appropriated for the year 1983 from the Federal Assistance <br />Grant Fund commonly known as the General Revenue Sharing Fund. <br />This appropriation is to be administered by the Department of <br />Administration and Finance and will be distributed as set forth <br />below: <br />PROGRAM FA 233 <br />VOLUNTEER PROGRAM <br />ACCOUNT DESCRIPTION AMOUNT <br />110.0 Salaries & Wages, Reg. $2,812.00 <br />148.0 Social Security 188.00 <br />210.2 Other Office Supplies 200.00 <br />321.0 Postage 500.00 <br />396.0 Instruction 500.00 <br />428.0 Office Equipment 800.00 <br />Total $5,000.00 <br />SECTION II.
