Box 618 <br />Osceola, IN 46561 <br />aj_construction@sbcglobal.net <br />Phone: (574) 674-4226 <br />Fax: (574) 830-1036 <br />Landmark <br />08/06/2024 <br />Jonathan Macart <br />1316 South Wayne Street <br />South Bend, IN 46615 <br />( <br />House Roof Tear-Off <br />-Cover and protect any existing landscaping, exterior furniture, etc. at perimeter of work area <br />-Tear off old shingles and all other roof material - 1 Layer Included. <br />-Remove all existing nails on roof deck <br />-Address any sheeting problems if necessary-up to 3 sheets included in price or 100 SF. <br /> $45.00 per sheet thereafter, if necessary <br />-Install new drip edge on roof <br />-Re-flash chimney (if applicable) <br />-Install Ice and Water Shield, eave ends & in all valleys & penetrations <br />-Install synthetic underlayment to roof <br />-Install starter shingles <br />-Install new Certainteed Landmark architectural shingles <br />-Install new coil nails <br />-Install new plumbing boots <br />-Install new can or ridge vents <br />-Install new ridge cap shingles <br />-Install new rubber roof on flat roof west side of house remove & replace railing & install 3/4" plywood strip 16" wide around roof edge for nailer <br />-Roll yard and driveway with magnetic strip <br />-Clean up and haul away all construction debris <br />-Furnish material and labor for the above <br />TOTAL <br />We propose hereby to furnish labor and material - complete in accordance with above specifications for the sum of: (see above total) <br />Payment as follows: Balance due in full upon completion of job. <br />If additional work to be completed after roof (fascia, soffit, siding, gutters, etc.), to be invoiced separately and due upon completion of each additional <br />item. We accept cash, checks, and all major credit cards. <br />WARRANTY: Architectural / Dimensional / Premium Shingles: Lifetime limited workmanship warranty against leaks. *Warranties to match the Certainteed <br />Sure Start Warranty Coverage (see brochure). Overlays: 5 Year workmanship warranty against leaks. 3 tab shingles: *Warranties to match the Certainteed <br />Sure Start Warranty Coverage (see brochure). <br />All material is guaranteed to be as specified. All work to be completed in a substantial workmanlike manner according to specifications submitted, per <br />standard practices. Any deviation or alteration from above specifications involving extra costs will be executed upon written or verbal orders with <br />homeowner and will be an extra charge over and above estimate. Any material leftover on a job is the property of AJ Construction & Roofing. If necessary, <br />any disputes that may arise from or related to this contract that are unable to be resolved by negotiations, the parties agree first to try in good faith to <br />settle the dispute by civil mediation with an agreed upon mediator in a confidential manner. After proposal is accepted by signature by the customer, it <br />becomes a binding contract. The customer has the right to cancel the contract within 3 business days. If beyond the 3 day period, customer will be <br />charged 10% of the agreement price as liquidated damages. See attachment for further fine print. *Note: this proposal may be withdrawn by us if not <br />accepted within 30 days.
