ORDINANCE NO . 7 3 o3 - 9'4 <br />AN ORDINANCE APPROPRIATING $4,782.00 <br />FROM THE HIGHWAYS SAFETY FUND FOR <br />EQUIPMENT FOR THE POLICE DEPARTMENT. <br />STATEMENT OF PURPOSE AND INTENT: <br />A grant from the Indiana Department of <br />Highways has been approved for the purchase of equipment to <br />be used for enforcement of traffic safety laws. Monies from <br />the grant will be available and need to be appropriated. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COMMON <br />COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA: <br />SECTION I. That the sum of $4,782.00 be approp- <br />riated from the Highways Safety Fund. This appropriation is to <br />be administered by the Police Department of the City of South Bend <br />and will be distributed as set forth below: <br />Account Description Amount <br />429.0 Other Equipment $4,782.00 <br />$4,782.00 <br />SECTION II.
