On-Duty Time <br />All time spent providing a breath sample or urine specimen, including travel time to <br />and from a collection site, in order to submit to any testing required under this Policy <br />will be considered "on-duty" time. ln addition, responsibility for the expense of any <br />drug or alcohol test required under this Policy will be as follows: <br />Testing <br />Circumstance <br />Expense <br />Company Driver <br />1. Retest X <br />Testing Methodology <br />All alcohol and controlled substances testing methodology and procedures will be <br />established by the US Department of Transportation, Federal Motor Carrier Safety <br />Regulations (Part 40) and will be considered the recommended method of testing <br />for this Policy. <br />Alcohol Testingo The Alcohol Testing Site <br />The medical facility utilized for testing purposes will use an alcohol <br />testing site that affords visual and aural privacy to the individual being <br />tested sufficient to prevent unauthorized persons from seeing or <br />hearing test results. This site will have available all of the necessary <br />equipment, personnel and materials for breath testing, and may <br />include the use of a mobile collection facility. The alcohol testing site <br />will be secure and no unauthorized persons will be permitted access to <br />it at any time when testing is being conducted or when the evidential <br />breath testing device (EBT) remains unsecured. Alcohol testing will <br />take place at the location designated on APPENDIX F - AUTHORIZED <br />MEDICAL FACILITIES/COLLECTION S/IES or other approved <br />medical testing facilities that provide services required by this Policy. <br />a <br />ln unusual circumstances (e.9., when it is essential to conduct a test <br />outdoors at the scene of an accident), a test may be conducted at a <br />place other than the above, but Visu-Sewer or the breath alcohol <br />29
