REGULAR MEETING SEPTEMBER 11.2000 <br />Mr. Zock asked for the Council's approval of this tax abatement for the property at 2215 South Olive <br />Street. He stated that he intends to build a one thousand one hundred (1,100) square foot house <br />with three (3) bedrooms. <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to this <br />Resolution, Councilmember Kelly made a motion to adopt this Resolution. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of seven <br />(7) ayes. <br />Councilmember Kelly reported that the Community and Economic Development Committee met <br />on these bills and recommends them to the Council favorably. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2924 -00 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN <br />AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 3605 WEST <br />CLEVELAND ROAD AN ECONOMIC REVITALIZATION <br />AREA FOR PURPOSES OF A TEN (10) YEAR REAL <br />PROPERTY TAX ABATEMENT FOR FEDERAL -MOGUL <br />SOUTH BEND, INC. <br />WHEREAS, a petition for real property tax abatement has been filed with the City Clerk for <br />consideration by the Common council of the City of South Bend, Indiana requesting that the area <br />commonly known as 3605 West Cleveland Road, South Bend, Indiana, and which is more <br />particularly described as follows: <br />A tract of land in part of the East half of Section 21, Township 38 North, <br />Range 2 East, 2nd P.M. St. Joseph County, Indiana <br />
