REGULAR MEETING JUNE 26, 2000 <br />Councilmember Kelly reported that the Community and Economic Development Committee met <br />on this bill and recommends it to the Council favorably. <br />Ms. Beth Leonard, Director, Financial and Program Management, Community & Economic <br />Development, 1200 County -City Building, South Bend, Indiana, made the presentation for this bill. <br />Ms. Leonard stated that this bill transfers sixty thousand dollars ($60,000.00) of unused money from <br />projects that are completed to the South Bend Heritage Foundation as the City has asked for their <br />assistance with several downtown projects. <br />This being the time heretofore set for the Public Hearing on the above bill, proponents and <br />opponents were given an opportunity to be heard. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to this <br />bill, Councihnember Aranowski made a motion for favorable recommendation to full Council <br />concerning this bill. Councilmember Kelly seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of <br />nine (9) ayes. <br />RISE AND REPORT <br />Councilmember Coleman made motion to rise and report to the full Council. JOSEPH COUNTY, INDIANA <br />(STASZEWSKI ANNEXATION) AND CHANGING <br />ZONING DESIGNATION <br />This bill had third reading. Councihnember Varner made a motion to pass this bill. Councilmember <br />White seconded the motion which carried.
