REGULAR MEETING FEBRUARY 14, 2000 <br />This bill had first reading. Councilmember Varner made a motion to refer this bill to the Public <br />Works and Property Vacation Committee and set it for Public Hearing and Third Reading on <br />February 28, 2000. Councilmember Coleman seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote <br />of nine (9) ayes. <br />UNFINISHED BUSINESS <br />CITIZEN PARTICIPATION ON COUNCIL COMMITTEES <br />Council President Charlotte Pfeifer encouraged citizens to participate on the nine (9) <br />standing committees of the Council. <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />There was no new business to come before the Council at this time. <br />PRIVILEGE OF THE FLOOR <br />Mr. Jim Cierzniak, 1156 East Victoria, South Bend, Indiana, submitted to the Council a summary <br />of tax money spent for the College Football Hall of Fame from 1995 -1999. Mr. Cierzniak reviewed <br />this summary for the Council as well as adding his personal comments which were part of his <br />handout. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, President Pfeifer adjourned the meeting <br />at 8:16 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Loretta J Dud , ity erk <br />ATTEST: <br />Charlotte Pfeifer, President <br />
