Councilmember Aranowski made a motion to refer this bill to the Public <br />Works and Property Vacation Committee and Personnel and Finance Committee and set it for Public <br />Hearing and Third Reading on February 14, 2000. Councilmember Coleman seconded the motion <br />which carried by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />BILL NO. 9-00 A BILL AMENDING CHAPTER 2, ARTICLE 8, SECTION <br />2 -116 OF THE SOUTH BEND MUNICIPAL CODE TO <br />COVER ALL CITY OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES AND <br />ALSO THE ST. JOSEPH COUNTY TREASURER UNDER <br />THE CITY'S BLANKET PERFORMANCE BOND <br />This bill had first reading. SAMPLE IN THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA <br />NEW BUSINESS <br />TAX ABATEMENT - KOONTZ -WAGER ELECTRIC COMPANY, INC. <br />It was noted that Ms. Jean Troutman- Poole, citizen member of the Community and <br />Economic Development Committee, should be advised that the salary listed for the one new <br />employee to be hired by Koontz - Wagner Electric as outlined in their petition, was incorrect <br />and is forty thousand dollars ($40,000.00) as stated in the Public Hearing held this evening. <br />
