DRUG & ALCOHOL POLICY <br />IMPAIRMENT-FREE WORKPLACE <br />Updated September 1, 2023 <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />No application of this policy will violate any applicable local, state, or federal law. Equal Opportunity Employer <br />Employee Policies are subject to change at any time without notice to employees. <br /> <br />After a second positive test, an employee will be: <br /> suspended from work for ninety (90) days. <br /> directed to a program of treatment or rehabilitation. <br /> subject to unannounced drug testing for one (1) year; <br /> beginning the day the employee returns to work. <br /> <br />After a third or subsequent positive test, an employee will be: <br /> suspended from work for one (1) year. <br /> directed to a program of treatment or rehabilitation. <br /> subject to unannounced drug testing for one (1) year; <br />beginning the day the employee returns to work. <br /> <br />In addition, all drug testing policies and procedures relating to drug and alcohol use, as detailed <br />in the Health and Safety Manual, are relevant and applicable to this Company policy. <br />Larson-Danielson reserves the right to participate in a standardized drug-testing program, so <br />long as said program contains similar criteria to that which is listed above. All collectively <br />bargained employees will follow the drug testing program meeting the requirements of Indiana <br />Code 4-13-18-5 as stipulated in their appropriate collective bargaining agreement with Larson- <br />Danielson if that agreement includes a drug testing policy. Those collective bargaining <br />agreements and their respective drug testing policies are hereby included in this policy. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />EMPLOYEE ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND RECEIPT OF DRUG & ALCOHOL; IMPAIRMENT-FREE <br />WORKPLACE POLICY <br />I have read and understand the company’s Drug & Alcohol; Impairment Free - Workplace Policy. My <br />response via “read receipt” of this emailed document serves as acknowledgment and receipt of this <br />policy. Final publication of the L-D Employee Handbook will request signature of acknowledgement <br />and receipt. <br /> <br /> <br />
