The project is <br />for the addition of a 20,000 sq/ft building attached to the north side of the Morris Performing Arts <br />Center for circulation, restrooms, service support, events, and other improvements. <br /> <br />The bidders ranked as follows: <br /> <br />Bidder Base Bid Deduct <br />Alternate Total <br />1. Ziolkowski Construction Inc. $15,217,000.00 $434,000.00 $15,217,000.00 <br /> <br /> <br />Upon review, neither bidder met the M/WBE requirements. It was determined that Larson <br />Danielson met good faith efforts for M/WBE goals and was the low bidder. Public Works <br />recommends rejecting the alternate and awarding of the base bid for $15,202,000.00 to the <br />lowest responsive / responsible bidder, Larson Danielson Construction Inc. <br /> <br />The Department of Public Works has appropriated sufficient funds in PR-00032431. <br /> <br />Please call with any questions. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />
