Vinyl siding over wood clap- <br />board. Two story porch. Windows are a mix of 1/1 and 2/2 double hung of various sizes. First floor east and north <br />facades have floor to ceiling in-swing 18-light windows. <br />DESCRIPTION OF PROPOSED PROJECT: The applicant has requested approval to: <br />1. Remove vinyl siding and repair wood clapboard and trim in-kind. <br />2. Replace windows deteriorated beyond repair with new wood windows or wood/clad windows of the same <br />size and function. All other windows will be restored. <br />3. Enlarge third floor by raising roof and extending gables to match front gable and meet at a center point. <br />4. Relocate second story window to front facade. Install door to match existing doors. <br />5. Rebuild and extend front porch around north and south facades with wood and steel structure and tongue <br />and groove decking. Traditional square wood balusters will run between 8- 18” square/round posts. South <br />facade of porch will extend to include ADA ramp. <br />6. Move existing window up 18” to allow wrap around porch. <br />7. Build new covered porch on the rear of the structure. <br />8. Place kitchen exhaust ventilation on roof of new rear porch. <br />9. Remove small fixed-pane windows in gables of attic story and replace with three double hung windows. <br />10. Install four (4) skylights on roof. <br />11. Build new 20” deep balcony with tri-part door panels on north facade <br />12. Extend brick chimney with reclaimed brick <br />13. Install new double hung window on south facade. <br />14. Remove chimney on west facade. <br />15. Remove small sliding window and one double hung window from west facade.
