A1.05 Post -Construction Phase A. Upon written authorization from Owner during the Post -Construction Phase Engineer shall: 1. Together with Owner, visit the Project to observe any apparent defects in the Work, assist Owner in consultations and discussions with Contractor concerning correction of any such defects, and make recommendations as to replacement or correction of defective Work, if any. 2. Together with Owner or Owner's representative, visit the Project within one month before the end of the correction period to ascertain whether any portion of the Work is subject to correction. 3. Perform or provide the following additional Post -Construction Phase tasks or deliverables: None B. The Post -Construction Phase services may commence during the Construction Phase and, if not otherwise modified in this Exhibit A, will terminate three months after the commencement of the Construction Contract's correction period b. The Scope of Services currently authorized to be performed by Engineer in accordance with the Agreement and previous amendments, if any, is modified as follows: Exhibit A, Part 1 — Basic Services, A1.01 Project Scope: "The City of South Bend anticipates replacing approximately 1 Q� 500 water service lines identified as having lead as part of this project. The Indiana Finance Authority allows for only full replacement as a part of this bid specifications. Full replacement is defined as follows: • Full Replacement - Replacement of the section of service line from the corporation stop at the water main to the water meter inside of the dwelling or Replacement of the section of service line from the corporation stop at the water main to the water meter outside of the dwelling then to the first shut off within the dwelling The project funding is currently $S million for the service replacements and is being funded by the Indiana Finance Authority through a loan/grant and $1.3 million for water main replacement with local funding.
