Klosinski, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 121-070A Fellows Booster Pump Station - Contract A (Pump Station <br />Procurement) <br />Agenda Request – Bid Award Recommendation <br />DATE: May 28, 2024 <br /> <br />Public Works, the Divisions of Engineering and Division of Water Works have reviewed the subject <br />Waste Treatment Chemicals Wastewater 2024-2025 bids and provides its recommendations as <br />noted below for the Board of Public Works review. The lone bid submitted was complete and meets <br />all bidding requirements for materials supply. (Centralia, Illinois) $2,529,025.00 <br /> <br />Bid Award Recommendation: <br /> <br />Public Works, the Division of Engineering and Division of Water Works recommends the Board of <br />Public Works award Project No. 121-070A Fellow Booster Pump Station – Contract A (Pump <br />Station Procurement) to the lone, lowest, responsive, and responsible bidder, EFI Solutions, Inc. <br />(Centralia, Illinois) in the amount of $2,529,025.00. <br /> <br />Funding: Indiana Finance Authority – State Revolving Fund Loan / Bond. <br /> <br />This award is recommended subject to the City of South Bend, Indiana closing its loan with the <br />Indiana Finance Authority – State Revolving Fund. The bond / loan closing is currently <br />scheduled for June 4, 2024, and all financing should be secure prior to the Board of Public <br />Works Regular Meeting on June 11, 2024. <br /> . <br />Contact Jacob M.
