In this case, the M&V Plan has an
asterisk next to Option A* in the EPC, and it states that “agreed upon savings that have been derived through
engineering calculations will be used to quantify the energy savings associated with this ECM.” This modified approach
uses the rated efficiency of the installed chiller to recalculate the agr eed upon savings. As mentioned above, the
installed IPLV is higher than the proposed value, which means a more efficient kW/ton was installed.

Ameresco confirmed that the chiller efficiency meets the expected values and that the sequencing of the new chil led
water plant is consistent with the design intent. Review of the Technical Data Sheet for the new chiller shows that the
installed integrated part load value (IPLV) of 17.42 is slightly higher than the proposed IPLV of 16.00. This leads to
additional savings from this ECM. The chiller Technical Data Sheet is shown in Appendix C.

Note: During the Year 2 site visit, Ameresco was informed that both chillers have been repaired after the phase loss
from the electrical service that occurred during a late-winter storm in March of 2022. This means 100% of the cooling
plant capacity is now available. During the visit, Chiller #1 was off and Chiller #2 was running at low -load, which was
the appropriate operation for the conditions.
