There were 5 buildings that made <br />up the complex. The main structure was 8 stories above grade and 4 stories below grade. All <br />concrete was recycled and used for new construction. The main 130ft tall structure is within <br />30ft of an historic, still -operational, 19th Century high school. The project is also bordered by <br />an under -construction, 1000-bed student housing project on one side and a major university <br />campus on the other. <br />Scope included demolishing all buildings on an urban healthcare campus, crushing and <br />recycling of all concrete, backfilling and compacting a basement area 50' below grade, all <br />while maintain safe passage on busy campus streets for pedestrian, construction, and other <br />traffic, and protecting an historic building that was located within the project limits. <br />Renascent: Experts in Demolition" <br />
