Klosinski, P.E., Assistant City Engineer <br />SUBJECT: 123-032 CSO 22 Control Valve Replacement <br />Professional Services Agreement (PROJ00000433 / PR-0003373) <br />Title Sheet and Request to Advertise <br />DATE: May 7, 2024 <br />The Division of Engineering recommends the Board of Public Works approval of a Title <br />Sheet and Request to Advertise for Public Bids for Project No. 123-032 CSO 22 Control <br />Valve Replacement. <br />Background <br />The CSO 22 Control Valve Improvements project includes the relocation of the existing <br />CSO 22 control structure southwest of its current location along its existing sewer <br />alignment. This work will also include new sanitary manhole structures, new gravity sewer <br />pipe, sewer pipe abandonment (that currently carries underneath a building), a new <br />automated control valve (gate), and new electrical control cabinet infrastructure. This <br />project is part of the City’s Long Term Control Plan requirements and will provide improved <br />control at this location. <br />Project Schedule (tentative): <br />May 17, 2024: 1st Advertisement <br />May 24, 2024: 2nd Advertisement <br />May 29, 2024: Pre-Bid Meeting (1:00 PM at CCB in BPW Board Room) <br />June 11, 2024: Bid Opening <br />June 25, 2024: Bid Award <br />July 15, 2024 : Begin Construction Phase <br />June 30, 2025: Complete Construction Phase <br />This project is funded through Sewage Works, Wastewater Capital Account 642-06- <br />605-514-442005. <br />For questions regarding the subject agenda request, contact Jacob M.
