1. CHLORINE SPECIFICATIONS <br />TON CYLINDERS <br />A. GENERAL <br />1. Only containers which currently are authorized by regulation for chlorine, <br />which have been inspected and reconditioned as described herein, and which <br />have been tested within the period required by regulations should be filled. It <br />is illegal to ship chlorine containers that have been filled by or without the <br />consent of the owner. <br />2. Due to the volatile nature of this chemical, the chlorine provider must be <br />able to have one (1) accredited Safety and Handling of Chlorine class per <br />year for South Bend Personnel. <br />3. Chlorine quotes should be deposit -free. No cylinder deposit should be <br />included in the quote. <br />4.
