REGULAR MEETING <br />SEPTEMBER 8, 2003 <br />Mr. Saviano advised that he will be constructing ten (10) single family residential homes of <br />approximately eight hundred (800) to one thousand (1,000) square feet in size. They will be two (2) <br />and three (3) bedrooms, one (1) bath, full basement or crawl space and a single car garage. The <br />approximate value will be about seventy -five thousand dollars ($75,000.00) per unit for a total <br />project of seven hundred fifty thousand dollars ($750,000.00). <br />A Public Hearing was held on the Resolution at this time. <br />There being no one present wishing to speak to the Council either in favor of or in opposition to this <br />Resolution, Councilmember Coleman made a motion to adopt this Resolution. Councilmember <br />Varner seconded the motion which carried and the Resolution was adopted by a roll call vote of eight <br />(8) ayes. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3244 -03 A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF SOUTH BEND DESIGNATING CERTAIN <br />AREAS WITHIN THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, <br />INDIANA, COMMONLY KNOWN AS 1915, 1919, 1923, <br />2001, 2005 AND 2023 S. PHILIPPA STREET AS A <br />RESIDENTIALLY DISTRESSED AREA FOR PURPOSES <br />OF A FIVE (5) YEAR RESIDENTIAL REAL PROPERTY <br />TAX ABATEMENT FOR JOSEPH PANZICA <br />WHEREAS, a Statement of Benefits and a petition for residential real property tax abatement has <br />been submitted to and filed with the City Clerk for consideration by the Common Council of the City <br />of South Bend, Indiana requesting that the area commonly known as 1915, 1919, 1923, 2001, 2005 <br />and 2023 S.
