Luecke <br />JUNE 23, 2003 <br />Former Councilmember At Large <br />Former Councilmember at Large <br />Former 3rd District Councilmember <br />Former Councilmember At Large <br />Former Councilmember At Large and current <br />Councilmember in South Haven, Michigan <br />Former 1 st District Councilmember and current <br />SPECIAL PRESENTATION BY VICE - PRESIDENT SEAN COLEMAN <br />Councilmember Coleman was j oined at the podium by former Councilmember Gene Ladewski who <br />presented to the Council a group Council photograph taken in 1960. Mr. Ladewski rescued this old <br />photograph from the old City Hall just before it was demolished. Councilmember Coleman <br />announced the names of the former Councilmembers in the photo and noted that this photo will be <br />on display in the Council office lobby. Former Councilmembers in the photograph are: <br />Third District Councilmember Walter Glass <br />Sixth District Councilmember Chet Muszynski <br />Fifth District Councilmember Bill Lehman <br />Councilmember At Large Chester Allen <br />Second District Councilmember Joe Kroll <br />Councilmember At Large Albert Tellson <br />4th District Councilmember Paul Krueper <br />Councilmember Coleman noted that the two (2) former Councilmembers in the photo that are still <br />living are Mr. Ladewski who is a former At Large Councilmember along with his father, former <br />First District Councilmember Hal Coleman, who could not be present this evening. <br />Councilmember Coleman stated that this is a terrific tribute to the linkage between Councils past and <br />present and the Council is grateful to former Councilmember Ladewski for his service and <br />contribution of this photograph which will have a place of honor in the Council lobby along with <br />other photographs. <br />There being no comments by Councilmembers at this time, members of the Youth Advisory Council <br />and the liaisons came forward to shake hands with members of the Common Council. <br />FIVE MINUTE RECESS <br />At 7:50 p.m. Councilmember King made a motion for a five (5) minute recess.
