REGULAR MEETING <br />JANUARY 13, 2003 <br />Council President White reminded Mr. Swanson that Councilmember Coleman <br />recommended that he contact the Park Department Director regarding his concerns about <br />recreational activities for youth. Mr. Swanson indicated that he has not contacted the Park <br />Department because he is not into groundwork any more. He was teaching leaders to be <br />leaders and now he is just watching and observing. <br />PRESIDENT WHITE ANNOUNCES REQUEST FOR CITIZEN MEMBERS <br />Council President White announced that there are eleven (11) standing committees of the <br />Council that are in need of citizen participation and anyone wishing to serve or receive <br />information regarding these committees should contact the City Clerk's office by January <br />20, 2003. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business to come before the Council, Councilmember Coleman made a <br />motion to adjourn. Councilmember Varner seconded the motion which carried by a voice vote of <br />nine (9) ayes. The meeting was adjourned at 9:39 p.m. <br />ATTEST: <br />Lorett .
