REGULAR MEETING NOVEMBER 24, 2003 <br />Be it remembered that the Common Council of the City of South Bend, Indiana, met in the Council <br />Chambers of the County -City Building on Monday, November 24, 2003, at 7:00 p.m. The meeting <br />was called to order by Council President Karen L. Talboom Deputy City Clerk <br />REPORT FROM THE SUB- COMMITTEE ON MINUTES <br />To the Common Council of the City of South Bend: The sub - committee has inspected the minutes <br />of the November 10, 2003 meeting of the Council and found them to be correct. Therefore, we <br />recommend the same be approved. <br />Members of the Sub - Committee on Minutes <br />s/Karen L. White <br />s /David Varner <br />Councilmember Coleman made a motion that the minutes of the November 10, 2003 meeting of the <br />Council be accepted and placed on file. Councilmember Kirsits seconded the motion which carried <br />by a voice vote of nine (9) ayes. <br />SPECIAL BUSINESS <br />ANNOUNCEMENT OF DECEMBER MEETING DATE <br />President White advised that the last Common Council meeting of the year will be held on Monday, <br />December 8, 2003. <br />RESOLUTION NO. 3263 -03 <br />A RESOLUTION OF THE COMMON COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF SOUTH BEND, INDIANA, <br />HONORING HIGH SCHOOL SENIORS AMY <br />MARSH, MICHAEL CWIDAK- KUSBACH, AND <br />SPENSER MCCOLLESTER FOR WINNING THE <br />2003 NATIONAL COUNCIL OF TEACHERS OF <br />ENGLISH ACHIEVEMENT AWARDS IN <br />WRITING <br />-1- <br />
